OVERVIEW AND KNOWING SNIC

The Singapore National Institute of Chemistry (SNIC) was established in March 1970 as a national body for the chemical profession in Singapore.

CONFERENCES AND AWARDS

Singapore International Chemistry Conference (SICC) is a biennial conference dedicated to promoting advances in chemistry. Attendees from all around the whole will be engaged in three days of thought-provoking and in-depth discussion on current and new scientific developments in chemical sciences related to the broad themes that will be listed. Chairman of SICC-10 & 11 will be announced by SNIC, NUSChem & NTUChem soon.

Chemistry National Meeting Singapore (ChnMSG) is an annual meeting to bring the local community together to discuss the development of chemistry in Singapore. More details would be available soon.

    • Upcoming internal workshop: The Tritium Workshop, held on 4th August 2017 for all lecturers of NTU and NUS.
    • SNIC and NUS Chemistry have successfully held the Digital Pedagogy workshop for Chemistry Educators on 31st May 2017 at NUS.
    • 2nd Round of Singapore Junior Chemistry Olympiad (SJchO) was done on 27th May 2017 at 4 different locations.
