Before and after the opening ceremony, students from the NUS Chemical Sciences Society (CSS) will demonstrate the chemistry kits that they have designed and prepared. These kits will be for sale to the public and will come with instructions, age group it is suitable for and importantly, safety precautions. The profits from the sale will go solely to the student society, CSS.

The kits are generally safe and are designed with the aim to bring chemistry out of the lab into homes and classrooms. The kits are on offer include:

  2. Invisible Ink – 3 types
  3. Redox Responses
  4. Fruit Battery
  5. Precipitation in a Pipe
