Synopsis:  Students will take on the role of forensic scientists in this activity to solve a crime. The programme of the activity includes a short briefing on the crime for all students in a lecture theatre; carrying out forensic investigations independently in groups of 3-4 in the laboratories; and consolidating the results of forensic investigations to crack the crime.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students can have a better appreciation of Chemistry knowledge in our lives and develop their cognitive domain such as analysing and critical thinking skills.
