“Do you know that more than 1 billion people in the world are believed to have no access to safe drinking water due to high cost of water treatment? Do you know that waste egg shells which is more cheaper and abundant are able to treat water due to their natural pore structures? Water is the very foundation of all life on Earth. Water is the lifeblood of our planet, the life giving fluid in all organisms, plants, animals and humans. Our very existence is intimately connected with the quality of water available to us. This hands-on workshop will cover water treatment by waste egg shells which is considered as useless and commonly disposed in landfills without any pretreatment.”
