Description:  As the world-wide supply of fossil fuels gets less and less each year, is it possible to continue to live life as we know it in a sustainable manner? Get a flavour of how scientists are researching into the area of renewable energy in this workshop – you will perform experiments to see how enzymes can be used to break down common objects like paper into sugar which can then be subsequently converted to ethanol to be burnt as fuel.
