Dr. He-Kuan Luo - Council Member

Dr. He-Kuan Luo is a Research Scientist in ICES, A*STAR. He obtained his doctoral degree in chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1996. Before he joined ICES in 2005, he has ever worked in Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, SINOPEC, as a Senior Engineer, and in Technical University of Berlin as a Humboldt Research Fellow. He received a First-Class Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of SINOPEC in 2001, and a Second-Class National Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement of China in 2003. He has more than 20 research publications and 10 patent applications. His research interests involve metal-catalyzed polymerizations, asymmetric catalysis and biomass conversions.
